The Atlantic Rainforest of Brazil runs along the south and east coast of this
huge country. In summer (southern hemisphere - December to March) its
quite hot, but in the winter it gets quite cold ... close to zero. This means that
flora and fauna are different to the types expected in a tropical eg Amazon
rainforest.
There is still an opportunity to see Jaguars in the wild, but - less
dangerously - you can see pine trees rubbing shoulders with palm trees!
While not an Amazon Experience as such, the tour offers rainforest
experience, and is still close enough to major cities to enable daily
excursions to nearby natural wonders as well as the overnight jungle
experiences.
